Our story
I've spent years building businesses and working closely with customers, suppliers and partners. One thing became clear every time an event needed to be organised: planning should be exciting, but instead it was often overwhelming.
Whether it was a wedding, birthday, corporate function or family celebration, people were forced to search dozens of websites, ask friends for recommendations, send countless WhatsApp messages, compare quotes manually and keep track of everything in spreadsheets or notebooks. Vendors faced the same frustration. Many incredible businesses struggled to be discovered while spending valuable time responding to enquiries that never became bookings.
I realised the event industry wasn't lacking talented vendors. It was lacking connection. Customers needed one trusted place to discover, compare, book and manage every part of their event. Vendors needed a platform that helped them grow their businesses instead of simply listing them online.
That idea became Gatherly.
Gatherly is more than a marketplace. It's an Event Operating System built to simplify every stage of planning.
